PARALEGAL PROFILES

Jennie Sharon Jennie Sharon provides paralegal support to attorneys DeShon Pullen with her primary focus on criminal and family litigation. Prior to joining DPA, Jennie worked as a legal assistant in the areas of civil, collection and labor law. Jennie has also worked as an adult probation officer and has an associate’s degree in criminal justice.
Heather Stamps Heather Stamps provides paralegal support to attorneys DeShon Pullen and Tawnia Wienke with Heather’s primary focus on family and civil litigation. Heather has worked in the area of family law since 1996. Heather took approximately seven years off to start her family, before her return to the legal profession in 2007. Heather has an associate’s degree in the Legal Assistant Program from Lamson Junior College. In addition to her experience in family law, Heather has extensive legal experience in Civil, Criminal, Personal Injury and Bankruptcy.

ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM

Mary Jo Batroff Mary Jo Batroff is the Document Management Coordinator. She is responsible for ensuring that both electronic and paper files are always organized and up to date. Mary Jo coordinates all incoming and outgoing documentation for the Firm. She is currently in paralegal school at Phoenix Community College and has extensive legal experience.
Laura Bishop Laura Bishop is the Firm Development and Operations Director. Laura provides direction and supervision in virtually all areas of Firm operation. Laura constantly provides feedback and ideas to improve productivity, quality of work and profitability within the Firm. Laura also ensures that DPA employees are continually advancing their skill set and knowledge in the field of law. DPA focuses on hiring and retaining the best qualified employees available in the work force and implements a range of programs to insure their continued advancement in the field.
Annette Pfeffer Annette Pfefferis casually known as the Firm’s “Inner Peace Director” and more formally titled the Employee Development and Retention Specialist. Annette is responsible for creating a dynamic work environment for all employees of the Firm. She manages the needs of each DPA staff member throughout the day with the goal of increased productivity, quality work product, and the lowest amount of workplace stress. Annette also plans and oversees all Firm employee events, including the Firm’s employee bonding events, to ensure that DPA staff has quality time together both at work and outside the work environment.
Rachel Stevens Rachel Stephens is the Executive Revenue Specialist. Rachel manages the Firm’s monthly billing, all DPA client account receivables and oversees the Firm’s financial matters. Rachel is committed to helping DPA clients obtain a comprehensive understanding of each charge incurred relating to their legal representation. Rachel focuses on client satisfaction and ensures that all client billing questions or concerns are resolved. Rachel also conducts initial potential client screenings and interviews to ensure that new clients are receiving the most accurate information about the Firm. After an initial screening, Rachel will arrange for interested potential clients to meet with DPA attorneys for a consultation.
