Once again, DeShon Laraye Pullen PLC is giving back to the community by raising money for a worthy cause. This February, the firm is supporting the American Heart Association Phoenix.

Founded in 1949, the American Heart Association is a nationwide organization combating cardiovascular disease and stroke. The AHA has spent more than $3.3 billion on research into these deadly conditions.

We recently celebrated Civil Rights Day here in Arizona. Known as Martin Luther King Jr. Day in other states, this holiday honors the great civil rights leader and gives us a chance to reflect on the principle of equal rights for all, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or religious beliefs.

DeShon Laraye Pullen PLC continues its commitment to the community.

For the month of January we are giving back in support of local homeless shelters and food banks.

Bring in a new blanket and a can of soup and receive an initial consultation with one of our attorneys for free!

At DeShon Laraye Pullen PLC, we are honored for the chance to change lives for the better!

Please join us in welcoming attorney, Alexus C. Hirsh, and legal assistant, Whittney Stricker, to DeShon Laraye Pullen PLC!

We are excited to have these two helping us fulfill our mission to provide our clients with exceptional representation while always maintaining the highest level of integrity, compassion, and professionalism.

As we enter the final days of 2016, we at DeShon Laraye Pullen PLC are reflecting on the year that just passed, and looking forward to the future.

First and foremost, we are proud of the work we did for our clients this year. It was our honor to guide clients through a difficult time in their lives, and fight for the best interests of our clients and their children. We worked hard every day to serve people going through divorce, child custody disputes or other family law matters.

We are in the thick of the holiday season, a time for parties, family gatherings and religious observations. It’s also a time to give back to people who are going through a tough time and could use a helping hand.

For the month of December, DeShon Laraye Pullen PLC has partnered with Commerce Bank in Scottsdale to “adopt” a local family through the Save The Family organization. Save The Family supports families (often single parents with children) who have been the victims of domestic violence and are currently living in shelters. The group provides counseling and employment help, and presents for children during the holidays.

We are excited to announce that Sara A. Swiren, one of our attorneys here at DeShon Laraye Pullen PLC, has recently gotten married!

As a family law firm, we deeply understand the role family plays in most people’s lives. That is why we are so happy for Sara and her new husband Nate as they begin this rewarding new phase in their relationship.

DeShon Laraye Pullen PLC is thankful for our wonderful clients, our exceptional staff, and our ever-supportive friends and family.

Today we in the United States celebrate Thanksgiving, one of the most beloved holidays on the American calendar.

Most of us spend Thanksgiving catching up with family and friends, watching football, and stuffing ourselves with turkey, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie

November is National Diabetes Month. With more than 29 million Americans living with diabetes (according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), it is likely that you or someone you know is dealing with this chronic, potentially fatal disease.

Diabetes is a condition that affects the insulin levels in your body. Insulin passes glucose in the blood into your body’s cells for use as an energy source. For people with diabetes, this important process does not happen as it should. Type 1 diabetes causes the body to produce insufficient insulin, while people with type 2 diabetes cannot use insulin properly.

Today is Nov. 11, the day we in the United States mark Veterans Day. Originally known as Armistice Day for being the anniversary of the day combat ended in World War I in 1918, this holiday later grew into a day to honor U.S. veterans of all wars.

Serving in the military in wartime is perhaps the greatest sacrifice one can make for one’s country. War often sends soldiers thousands of miles away from home and family, where they may encounter terrible violence and uncertainty when, or if, they will get home safely.
