Staci Maret

Legal Paraprofessional

Staci Maret is one of the first two applicants to pass the Arizona Legal Paraprofessional test in 2021 and is among the first group of Legal Paraprofessionals to obtain a license to practice family law.

Prior to obtaining her license to practice family law, Staci was a paralegal for nearly twenty years. As an advanced certified paralegal, Staci actively worked on a multitude of family law cases focused on: grandparent rights, third-party visitation, custody disputes, spousal maintenance issues, domestic violence, orders of protection, high-conflict custody and parenting time cases as well as complex, high-asset dissolution cases. Staci’s clients benefit from her experience as a family law mediator and a volunteer mediator in local Justice Courts as she advocates to reach agreements outside of Court whenever possible.

Staci has extensive family law litigation and trial experience including preparing clients and witnesses for court testimony, exhibit preparation, and complex discovery processes. Staci has actively participated in court hearings and trials and is competent in the courtroom.

Staci received her BA in Communication, Magna Cum Laude, in 2002. Later, she successfully completed 40 hours of mediation and advanced mediation training in family law. She provided family mediation services from 2006 until 2010. Staci became a certified paralegal in 2015 and obtained her advanced certification in family law that same year. Staci has been with DeShon Laraye Pullen PLC since 2010.

Staci was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in December 2021 and is licensed to practice family law consistent with ACJA § 7-201.
